I've also been busy working on a new process for my paintings, using no paper at all, yet still maintaining control over the layering. I'm still experimenting, but am excited to have turned yet another corner in my work. I'll post pictures of the finished experimental piece either tomorrow or the next day, but for now I'm just excited to be doing something other than layering paper and paint. The really _awesome_ thing about the new method is that the time involved has been drastically reduced – the paper/paint thing takes months, but without the paper, and being able to work both sides of the piece before even laying it onto the canvas, has cut the drying time down drastically. It may no longer take me 3+ months to create a piece, which is a huge step forward.
In other news, I have a phone interview with a Berlin placement agency tomorrow.
