The Shippers

I stayed up all night packing boxes and wrapping paintings. Around 8am I took a break to eat breakfast and take a shower, and then went over to the bike shop to pick up my disassembled bicycle. I carried the enormous box home in my arms because I couldn't find a taxi. Actually, that's not completely true. I pushed and dragged it some of the way, too. My back is killing me.

The shipping company came around 10:30am and took the paintings, boxes, bird cage and manzanita tree. They were in and out of here in a flash – one moment all of my things were still here, and the next they weren't. Now I'm officially living out of a suitcase.

I'm finally off my feet, drinking a PBR. Next stop is bed.
