Last night as I searched for something terrifying to investigate I came across something I had never heard of before: Krokodil.
This fucking takes the cake – seriously, I'll take leprosy any day of the week compared to an addiction to this new drug that's sweeping Russia.
It's like heroin, except it's significantly cheaper and people can easily access all the ingredients to cook it up themselves. The problem is that it rapidly eats away the flesh of people who use it, leaving them with chunks of necrotic flesh falling off their bodies. It's almost impossible to get off of once a person is addicted to it, and it's almost a miracle to find a person who has recovered from it.
This documentary was quite informative.
