No, I don't collect porceline bird figurines, I just happened to be in that kind of mood today. The blue duck is pretty killer, though. I mean, wtf? It's awesome. I want to carry it around with me everywhere I go now.
I've decided that I'm going to host a little American style Thanksgiving dinner here at my studio for some friends of mine, a total of six in all because that's the largest number of people I can accommodate here for a meal. More than that and I'd have to get another table, chairs, extra plates and cutlery, and I'm not into that. So six people.
Thing is, I'm a vegetarian. Ok, not a vicious, militant hardcore vegetarian, but I do my best despite occasionally strategically forgetting that I don't eat meat. In any case, I'd like to keep my Thanksgiving meat free. I'm going to have to do some research into how vegetarians put together a Thanksgiving dinner. Maybe stuffed peppers? I'd rather stay away from the whole 'Tofurky' thing because 1. it sounds disgusting and 2. there has to be a better way. I have over a month to figure this out so time is on my side, but if anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.
