We have a floater

I've been going swimming on Mondays after work at a giant swimming facility on the east side of Berlin. It's a massive complex, and I can totally imagine the East German Olympic swim team practicing there:

As I've written before, I can't really swim, but this year I made the decision to deal with my fear of drowning and learn.

Last night something clicked for me, and I suddenly found myself able to do full lengths of the pool. It was like riding a bike; one minute I couldn't, and the next I could. There's a rhythm and a flow to it that I had never felt or understood before, but now that I have I don't think I'll forget it.

Of course, now that I finally know how to swim, I want to swim every day! It's like I have a new toy and I want to play with it.
